About Morrocoy National Park
Morrocoy is a 32,090-hectare protected coastal park in Falcón State, Venezuela, near Tucacas and Chichiriviche. It’s made up of small cays, mangrove forests, coral reefs and white-sand beaches surrounded by shallow, clear Caribbean water.
Well-known cays include Cayo Sombrero, Cayo Sal, Cayo Borracho and Las Ánimas, along with beaches like Mero, Paiclas and Playuela. Depending on the day, you may spot sea turtles, dolphins, pelicans and flamingos.
Because Morrocoy is made up of so many separate islands, the best way to experience it is by boat, moving between coral reefs and beaches instead of staying in one spot.
Eclectik will be sailing Morrocoy from December 2026.
